Lower level flat overlooking the garden, at rear of a Victorian house in quiet, residential street. Ground floor entrance shared with owner, an interior designer & her partner, who live in the rest of the house. They have one cat. 4 minutes walk to West Kensington tube station [District Line], 7 stations from PICCADILLY CIRCUS. Allow about 2 minutes travelling time between each station. Small, single bedroom [bed 3 feet/91cm wide] with good storage space, with window overlooking the garden. TV. Adjacent private bathroom with toilet, basin, bath with hand-held shower. Fully equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge, microwave, washing machine with tumble drier, table and 2 chairs. Door into the garden. Linen and towels provided. Starter pack breakfast [loaf of bread, eggs, jam, milk, tea, coffee & sugar] on arrival supplied by host, who is on hand to answer your queries. Electricity, gas, heating and weekly cleaning included, but not breakfast. Shops close a few minutes walk. Wi-fi available if you bring your own laptop. Minimum stay 2 consecutive weeks. Own keys so you may come and go as you please. PHONE: Guests have their own telephone with voice mail and itemised billing. Phone deposit £20.00 per week for Network charges & towards likely costs of telephone calls. [If usage is less than this, the amount will be refunded to you]. 4 minutes walk to West Kensington underground Station [District Line]. 6 minutes walk to Barons Court underground station [Piccadilly Line], 5 minutes walk to Olympia [British Rail & District Line]. 7 minutes walk to Kensington High Street. GUESTS COMMENTS: Lived at the Matheson studio for 2 years and found the accommodation to be both comfortable and quiet. Always felt at home. Centrally located and close to public transportation. K & T are so friendly, so welcoming that I did not feel alone when I wanted company but could be so private when I didn’t want to chat.
